The latest pod from Innokin is particularly simple and efficient. Compact and understated, it doesn’t need any adjustment. A very good backup for vapers who already have their kit or for those trying vaping for the very first time.

The Klypse pod is both lightweight and discreet. Weighing in at just 45g, it slips easily into your bag or your pocket. Its sleek lines make it very discreet to use and it is no less robust despite its small size thanks to the use of an aluminium alloy. The Klypse is fully automatic and doesn’t need any adjustment. Simply fill its tank with e-liquid and away you go.

The Klypse from Innokin is compact, no bigger than a highlighter pen. It’s great to hold. It doesn’t slip in your hand at all. Using aluminium alloy contributes to the pod’s feather weight and top quality look. The Klypse comes with a cap to clip over the mouthpiece. It’s more hygienic when you transport it. When you want to vape, you don’t need to hold the cap in your hand. It attaches to the base of the pod thanks to a powerful magnet that holds it on tightly. Visually it is perfectly integrated, since the cap is the same shape as the battery body.

A shiny strip on one edge contrasts with the rest of the pod. The brand is marked on it. There is also a small LED on this part which lights up during use. It indicates the remaining battery level and that the pod is working properly.

Two magnets under the pod hold the cap in place. The battery capacity is also given. The Klypse has 700 mAh. That matches the size of the pod. For exclusive use during the day, you will need to remember to charge up your Klypse, unless you just vape from time to time.

A USB-C port on the side allows fast charging of the Klypse. A small hole can be seen on the picture. There is the same hole on the other side. This is where the airflow circulates to cool the coil.

The Klypse cartridge is held in place by magnets. We didn’t experience any lateral play or find the tank loose at all. During our tests, we didn’t see any seepage or leaking. When the cartridge is in place, it can be difficult to see exactly how much liquid is left. Don’t hesitate to take it out before you find there is no e-liquid left.

The tank is filled in the traditional way by lifting a little silicone seal. It holds in place well and covers the tank sufficiently to facilitate the operation. With a volume of 2ml and an 0.8 ohm coil, the Klypse doesn’t use a lot of e-liquid. The Klypse is fully automatic. You don’t need to press any buttons to produce vapour. Just inhale to trigger vaping. There’s no adjustment so no pressing is needed. For a vaping newbie or cigarette smoker, this type of device can be very convincing and is an easy way into vaping.

From the point of view of the vaping experience, the Klypse produces a top quality vape. Using mesh in the coils contributes to excellent flavours. The vapour is slightly warm. The vapour production is consistent with this type of coil, and the Klypse is designed for mouth to lung vaping (like a traditional cigarette).

When the coil is worn out, you just throw away the whole cartridge. Simply drop it off at your usual collection point or in vape shops with an electrical waste collection container.

These cartridges are then recycled for all or part of the materials used in them. Innokin works with the company Ecologic for the processing of its used equipment, a small act to help save the planet which deserves a mention and encouragement.
