At FabTech 2021, we saw the launch of DeWalt 20V Max XR brushless 3-inch cutting tool. It packs the metal cutting function of the angle grinder into a smaller one-hand bag.
The DeWalt 20V Max XR brushless cutting tool can cut a variety of materials, such as metal, gypsum board, fiber cement, plastic, ceramic tiles and stone. With its brushless motor and upgraded battery platform, it can generate a maximum output power of 550W and a no-load speed of 20,000 rpm.
The DeWalt brushless cutting tool has a 3/8" handle and a maximum cutting capacity of 0.79". It has forward and backward functions, and is equipped with a detachable dust cover, adjustable boots and AirLock interface, allowing you to connect any DeWalt dust collector.
In addition, it is also equipped with a 7/16" spindle adapter ring and three grinding wheels: a bonded grinding wheel, a diamond multi-material grinding wheel and a diamond tile grinding wheel.
Since the DeWalt 20V Max XR brushless cutting tool just made its debut at the FabTech conference in 2021, many details surrounding it still seem to be shrouded in mystery. One of these details is the price. Although we know that DeWalt plans to sell it as a bare metal starting in the fourth quarter of 2021, we have not yet learned a price you can trust.
